People gathered in front of Radisson Blu Tbilisi to express their protest against draft resolution of the parliament’s committee on human rights on anti-LGBT riots in downtown Tbilisi on May 17, 2013, when outraged mob with encouragement of Georgian orthodox christian priests violently cracked down small group of people who gathered near Rustaveli avenue to mark international day against homophobia.
“All different, all equal”
Protesters believed that the parliament committee’s evaluation of May 17th event was too mild in many instances misleading. They demanded adequate statement from the committee members who gathered in Radisson for annual report.
“Operative units” of Police filming protesters intensively
Representative of the parliament’s committee on human rights came out to protesters and spoke with them.
“Your orgasm is fake, Eka” – referring to remarks of Eka Beselia, chair of the committee, who allegedly supposed that some of the signatures of the petition submitted to the committee by citizens with demand of condemnation of anti-LGBT riots and prosecution of its organizers, were fake.

More of the “operative cars” with no signs but clear indication of their belonging to “special units”. You can distinguish those by following signs – Silver or white new “Skoda” car with tinted dark windows. Often carrying sequential plates like VDV, WMW and so on. But there might be also other combinations like SVD, GSS, GEL etc. (their etymology still remains vague though)
