This training square does not exist anymore as it was cut in half (soon after the shots have been made) by a new road connecting different parts of central neighborhoods to one transportation artery leading from downtown outbound to west.

Though the hippodrome has moved to different location near Lisi lake, there are still some functioning facilities in the old one that accommodate horses (pictures below in this post)
Many people from nearby residential areas come to old hippodrome to rest or exercise.
Nice bridge near “Upper Corpus” of Tbilisi State University. “Upper Corpus” is another quiet area in a close proximity to the city’s central disctricts.
“Upper Corpus” houses departments of Economics and some of the Natural Sciences of Tbilisi State University.
Small Vere river is running beneath the “Upper Corpus” bridge, which stinks in hot days due to some sewage leakage into the stream.
The bridge used to be a place for bungee jumping till the disaster that happened several days after this one when a young couple died there due to a cable mechanism failure.
